  Abstract: Increasing applications of stainless steel in various fields where corrosion resistance is of prime importance, electrolytic polishing enhances the corrosion resistance of the component by decreasing the micro roughness. The current paper focuses on study of electrolytic smoothening technique for AISI316LN and the factors affecting the process as well.
