Documentation of Leaf Curl Virus Resistance Sources in BARI Released Tomato Varieties and LinesBy Hafizur Rahman, A. Akter, M.S. Akhter
Abstract: An experiment was conducted at the Regional Agricultural Research Station, Jamalpur, Bangladesh during rabi season of 2022-23 to identify noble sources of resistance in BARI released Tomato varieties/lines against leaf curl viruses. The evaluation of forty-six Tomato genotypes was performed against Tomato Leaf Curl Viruses (ToLCV) under natural conditions where the viruses were transmitted by white fly. However, ToLCV-infected plants ranged from 6.25 to 39.58% in the study. Thirty-four varieties/lines …

Effect of Split Application of N and K Fertilizer and Bagging on the Growth, Yield and Post-Harvest Quality of BananaBy Hafizur Rahman, A. Akter, J. Rahman
Abstract: AbstractThe experiment was conducted at the Regional Agricultural Research Station, Jamalpur Bangladesh from January, 2013 to December, 2013. The effect of split application of N and K as well as bagging was considered on growth and yield of banana. The treatments were—Factor-A: Split application of N and K: T1=2-split (2 months after planting+at shooting); T2=3-split (2 months after planting+3.5 months after planting+at shooting); T3=4-split (2 months after planting+3.5 months after …
