Abstract: AbstractField experiments were conducted during Kharif 2005 and 2006 at Gobbur Wadi area of Afzalpur Taluk, Gulbarga district. Sorghum plants were randomly selected and the three concentrations (10, 20, and 30%) of Neem leaf extract (NLE) were sprayed at the successive periods of 15, 30 and 45 days, respectively and percent disease incidence was recorded. Abstract: ABSTRACTIn the present study, the effect of Neem leaf extract on leaf sugary disease and aphid populations on sorghum leaf was studied using different concentrations of NLE (aqueous), viz., 10%, 20% and 30% along with the water spray and control blank.
