  Abstract: Chitosan and soy protein are abundantly available renewable biopolymers. The combination of the nano-sized powders and the biopolymer matrix will result in the formation of bio-nanocomposites. Due to bactericidal properties, silver nanoparticles are widely used in the medical applications.
