Abstract: The aim of this study was to synthesize and characterize mesoporous silica nanoparticles, namely, SBA-15 (Santa Barbara Amorphous) and MCM-41 (Mobile Crystalline Material) as a drug delivery platform. These MSNs have been synthesized using triblock copolymer F 127, cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB) as a co-surfactant and tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS) as a silica precursor.
