Synthesis and Characterization of Amorphous Carbon Nanotube-Molybdenum Disulfide (ACNT-MoS2) Nanohybrids using Sodium Molybdate Dehydrate and L-Cysteine as PrecursorBy Binoy Bera
Abstract: The discovery of graphene makes the researcher interested towards the other two-dimensional material which has quite similar properties like graphene. Among them, MoS2 nanosheets haves extraordinary optoelectronic and physical properties. It has several applications in developing battery, sensor, optoelectronic device etc. On the other hand, amorphous carbon nanotube can be synthesized by using a low temperature chemical process. Due to the ease processing of amorphous carbon nanotube (ACNT), good optoelectronic …

Hydrothermally Prepared ACNT-MoS2 Nanohybrids with Maintained Temperature and Time ConditionBy Binoy Bera
Abstract: Here, amorphous carbon nanotube-MoS2 nanohybrids were synthesized by using hydrothermal method. Amorphous carbon nanotube has been prepared through low temperature chemical process. In hydrothermal method, temperature and time was maintained at 160°C and 20 hrs respectively. Nanohybrids were characterized by using FESEM, HRTEM method. EDAX and XRD measurement were also done.

HRTEM and Current-Voltage Study of ACNT-MoS2 Nanocomposite Prepared by Hydrothermal MethodBy Binoy Bera
Abstract: Recently amorphous carbon nanotube and their nanocomposites are most influenced research topic in the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology. Here in this paper, amorphous carbon nanotube-molybdenum disulfide nanocomposite has been prepared by hydrothermal method. Hexaammonium heptamolybdate tetrahydrate, thiourea and amorphous carbon nanotube were used as main material in that process. Amorphous carbon nanotube have been prepared separately by a low temperature chemical process. Finally the high resolution transmission electron microscope …

A Detail Opto-electronic and Photocatalytic Study of Amorphous Carbon Nanotubes—MoS2 HybridsBy Binoy Bera, Diptonil Banerjee
Abstract: Amorphous carbon nanotube – MoS2 nanohybrids were synthesized by simple hydrothermal method where two different precursor, thiourea and L-cysteine were used as a source of sulfur. Amorphous carbon nanotube has been prepared separately by a low temperature chemical process. Amorphous carbon nanotube-MoS2 nanohybrids were characterized by using X-ray diffraction, energy dispersive X-ray analysis, field emission scanning and high resolution transmission electron microscope, Raman spectrometer. Dye removal (from water) performance of …

Synthesis, Properties and Applications of Amorphous Carbon Nanotube and MoS2 nanosheets: A ReviewBy Binoy Bera
Abstract: Recently, carbon nanotube have been showing great interest in the field of nanotechnology for its exceptional physical, electronic properties. The synthesis procedure of crystalline carbon nanotube are immensely tough for which researchers are focused on amorphous carbon nanotube. Furthermore the presence of dangling bonds in amorphous carbon nanotube makes it easily reactable with other nanomaterial to form into nanohybrids. This nanohybrids are quite challengeable to crystalline carbon nanotube in various …
