  Wide Band Open Spanner Patch Antenna for Wireless Local Area Network Application

  Abstract: This paper presents the enhancement of bandwidth of a microstrip antenna using slotted design fed by Microstrip line feed. The main aim of proposed work is to obtain large bandwidth with reduced size. The proposed microstrip antenna has a wide bandwidth of 48.99% covering the range from 1.806-2.978 GHz which is best suitable for WLAN application.
