Abstract: The aim of the present study was to compare hepatoprotective efficacy of exogenous melatonin and insulin plant extract against streptozotocin induced hepatic complications. To induce diabetes adult female rat were administrated with STZ (15mg/kg) for consecutive six days. The confirmation of diabetic model was analyzed by blood glucose test.
