Effect of Bacteria on Crude Oil Degradation in Loamy and Clay Soil for Water and Ethanol Biostimulant Extraction from Bryophylum pinnatum LeafBy Ukpaka Chukwuemeka Peter, Victor Chukwuemeka Ukpaka, Abraham Peter Ukpaka, Joy Chukwuemeka Peter Ukpaka
Abstract: The effect of bacteria on crude oil degradation in loamy and clay soil for water and ethanol biostimulant extraction from Bryophylum pinnatum leaf was investigated to ascertain the potential of the bacteria counts in the bioreactors sampled. At the progressive phase, the bacteria counts were more with bioreactors induced with ethanol solvent extract as the volume of the dosage increases compared to the bioreactors induced with the water extract. The …

Comparison of Percentage Removal of Petroleum Hydrocarbon on the Effect of Biostimulant in Polluted Soil Environment Using Chromolaena odorataBy Victor Chukwuemeka Ukpaka, Abraham Peter Ukpaka, Joy Chukwuemeka Peter Ukpaka, Chukwuemeka Peter Ukpaka
Abstract: The investigation on the comparison of percentage reduction on polluted soil environment using chromolaena odorata as a bio-stimulant upon the effect of contact time revealed increase in percentage removal of total petroleum hydrocarbon (TPH). The rate of total petroleum hydrocarbon (TPH) removal was discovered to have been influenced y the mas of bio-stimulant dosage immersed or introduced into each of the bioreactor. However, as the mass of the bio-stimulant dosage …
