Abstract: Aim: The aim of this study was screening for bioactive compounds with pharmaceutical properties from Cassia alata leaf extract. Methodology: The dried sample of Cassia alata leaf was powdered and extracted with ethanol using soxhlet apparatus. Antimicrobial activity of the leaf extract was checked against different clinical pathogens.
